The people behind the flavours.
Every stop on our route is an independent Peckham business, visited with their blessing and credited by name. When you book a tour, your money reaches their tills too. That is the model, and we are proud of it.
Who feeds you along the way.
The route rotates as the neighbourhood evolves, but these are the partners guests meet on a typical Saturday.
Prince of Peckham
The much-loved pub where every tour begins. Introductions, first drinks and the proper Nigerian welcome happen here, at 1 Clayton Road.
Chef Kolawole Ajayi
The suya master. Thin-cut skewers, a yaji spice blend built from memory and a grill that turns first-timers into converts every single week.
Pure Cane
Sugarcane juice pressed fresh while you watch, the way it is served on streets across West Africa. The mid-route refresher everyone photographs.
Delta Tavern
Home of the tour’s Banga soup: palm-nut rich, Delta-born and served with stories. The stop guests most often return to on their own.
Eko Brewery
Nigerian craft beer brewed with pride. The closing toast of the afternoon, alongside chin chin cheesecake and banoffee pie.
And the next maker
Peckham keeps creating. As new kitchens and makers open, the route grows with them, so no two seasons taste quite the same.
Named, paid and celebrated.
Our makers are partners, not props. They are paid properly for every tasting, introduced by name, and featured only with their permission. If you run a Peckham food business and would like to join the route, we would love to hear from you.
