Cookie policy
Not the chin chin kind, sadly. This page explains what cookies our website uses, why we use them, and how you stay in control.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
The items in square brackets, such as the exact analytics tool and cookie names, need confirming against the final site setup before this page goes live, so the list below matches what the site actually sets.
On this page
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember things about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you have been here before. Similar technologies, like local storage and pixels, do comparable jobs, and we use the word “cookies” here to cover all of them.
2. How we use them
We keep it light. Cookies on jekajeun.com are used to make the website work properly, to remember your cookie choices, and, with your agreement, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to sell your data.
3. The cookies we set
Strictly necessary
These make the website function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include cookies set by WordPress for basic operation and security, and the cookie that records your consent choices.
Analytics
With your consent, we use [analytics tool, for example Google Analytics 4] to understand how visitors move through the site, which pages help people book, and where we can improve. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Functionality
Some features remember small preferences, such as a dismissed notice, so you do not see the same thing twice.
4. Third-party cookies
Some services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
- Humanitix, our booking partner, when you follow a booking link or use an embedded checkout.
- Mailchimp, our email provider, when you use a sign-up form.
- Embedded content, such as maps or social posts, which may set cookies from the platform that provides them.
These are governed by each provider’s own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
5. Your choices and consent
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks what you are happy with. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the site cannot work without them, and everything else waits for your yes. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the website footer.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site behave, but you are always free to do it. Your browser’s help pages will walk you through the steps.
7. Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the date at the top, and where the change is significant we will ask for your consent again.
8. Contact us
Questions about cookies or your data are always welcome at info@jekajeun.com. Our privacy policy explains the bigger picture of how we look after your information.
