Booking & tickets
How do I book?
Through our Dates & Book page, which takes you to secure checkout on Humanitix. Spaces are limited and Saturdays fill up, so early booking is the safe move.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Humanitix offers payment plans at checkout with simple, secure automatic payments and no credit checks.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the tour. Closer than that, food has been bought and portions planned, so refunds are not standard, but tell us what has happened and we will always try to help. The full detail is in our terms.
Can we book a private or corporate tour?
Very much so. We host team away-days, client hosting and celebrations, with weekday availability and invoicing for companies. Start on the corporate or private groups pages.
Food & drink
I have a dietary requirement or allergy. Can you cater for me?
Tell us when you book and again by email to info@jekajeun.com, and we will plan with our makers. The food comes from independent kitchens, so we cannot promise zero cross-contamination; if you have a severe allergy, please speak to us before booking so we can be honest about what is possible.
How much food is there, really?
Come hungry. Six or more tastings across the afternoon add up to a very full day of eating; guests regularly skip dinner afterwards.
Do I have to drink alcohol?
Not at all. Some stops include alcoholic drinks, and every one of them has an alcohol-free alternative. Where alcohol is served you will need to be 18 or over, and you may be asked for ID.
How spicy is the food?
There is heat, but it is in your hands. Dishes like suya come with the spice explained first, and your host will happily point you to the gentler end of the table.
On the day
Where do we meet, and when?
At Prince of Peckham, 1 Clayton Road, London SE15 5JA, a couple of minutes from Peckham Rye station. Tours start at 1pm; arriving around 15 minutes early means we can begin together.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate layers and an appetite. Everything else, including your tour passport and goody bag, is on us.
What happens if it rains?
Tours run in most weather, and much of the eating happens indoors or under cover. If severe weather ever forces a change, we will contact you with your options.
I am running late. What do I do?
Message us on WhatsApp or call 07356 250263 and we will tell you where to catch the group up.
Access & who can come
How much walking is involved?
It is a gentle, sociable pace with short walks between stops and regular chances to sit. If you have any mobility or stamina concerns, contact us before booking and we will describe the route honestly so you can decide.
Is the route wheelchair accessible?
Rather than make a blanket claim, we would prefer to talk it through. Venues and pavements vary along the route, so email info@jekajeun.com and we will give you specific, honest access information for the current route.
Can children join?
Families are welcome, and younger guests must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Age details and whether a child needs a ticket are shown at booking; if in doubt, just ask us first.
I am coming alone. Will that be strange?
Solo guests are some of our favourite regulars. The tour is built around one long shared table, and our hosts make sure nobody stands at the edge of it.
Still wondering about something?
Send us a message and a real person will come back to you, usually within two working days.
